As a professional musician Dave’s career has covered many styles of  music including Australian Traditional, Irish, Scottish, Blues, Jazz, Bluegrass, Country, Rock & Roll, Western Swing, Rhythm & Blues, Musical Theatre, Contemporary Folk, Indian, Classical, and Pop.

He was a long-term member of Eric Bogle’s band, recording four albums with him, and touring the UK, USA, Canada, Ireland and Germany; he has also performed with many outstanding artists from many countries including The Bushwackers, Ralph McTell, The
Borderers, Reg Lindsay, The Furries, The Chieftains, Straight Ahead, Tommy Emanuel, Becky Cole, Lucky Starr, Franklyn B Paverty, Liz Doherty, Lucky Oceans and Gina Jefferys.

Dave has recorded on over twenty albums as well as many TV and radio appearances, and he has given workshops and master classes on Fiddle, Guitar and Mandolin at countless festivals across Australia and internationally.
